Anil is a very famous and eminent personality in the Malayalam movie industry.. He is one of the most prolific film directors of Malayalam film industry.His films were known for their visually appealing shot compositions and were always well received in Kerala with 100% initial pull .
Anil was born in Alleppy district and Father is Purushothaman Nair Mother is Lakshimikutty Amma .He had a Younger Sister Dr.Ashakumary (Ph.D) ,Working Thomas Jefferson University ,Philadelphia.USA.
.After finishing his graduate study in B.Sc in S.D.college Alappuzha, he went for the Diploma Course Film Direction. His movies mainly revolved around the cultural and relational aspects of a typical Kerala society.
